This book examines one of the lesser known unbuilt designs from Le Corbusier’s later epoch. Introducing new programs and metaphors at a scale never tackled before in his career, such as Science Fiction or Behaviorism, while it reshapes other recurrent themes from earlier times like infrastructure, Surrealism, layering, stacking, etc., the Olivetti factory emerges, as seen from the contemporary eye, as an appealing and puzzling scheme, still in need of interpretation and waiting to be incorporated into an operational and methodological realm.
